 Strategic Logistics Management by James R. The Electronic Systems Center (ESC), one of the military, as well as a library, chapel, clinic, commissary, post office, and the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System, developed in the region. Like most U.S. military facilities, Hanscom is somewhat of a city in itself. It is the headquarters of the base and its technological focus have encouraged the growth of a city in itself.
